Solid Vanes
As an exclusive product of Hunter Douglas, Pirouette® Shades feature five-inch, sculpted fabric vanes in solid fabrics. The solid vanes are available in room darkening and light filtering fabrics. ClearView® vs Traditional Sheer Panels
The sheer back panel of fabric that allows you to view the outdoors and invite soft filtered light is available in two options. Traditional sheer fabrics diffuse the light—and the view. The view-through of traditional sheers is hazy and soft. The other option is ClearView®. ClearView® sheer fabrics are black, which results in a crisp, sharpened view of the landscape. Glare is reduced with both sheer options, and UV protection keeps your interiors safe from fading and damage.
The Multiple Positions of Sheer Shades
The best part of Hunter Douglas sheer shades is the versatile positioning you can experience from the mix of sheers and solid vaning. With Pirouette® Shades, the front solid vanes can close up to control the light and privacy. In this closed position, the shades can roll up into the headrail, pausing along the way for partial coverage. In the fully lowered position, the vanes will fold in place, revealing the sheer fabric back panel, allowing soft filtered light to fill the space without glare. The newest innovation is a dual shade feature, known as A Deux™. A secondary blackout roller shade is incorporated into the headrail, operating independently of the Pirouette® shade, lowering into place when room darkening and light blocking is necessary.
