Our south facing master bedroom has a massive balcony door/window. It's very bright and almost blinding on a sunny day when the curtains are drawn. Since it's a European style tilt and turn door, there aren't many options. Laura, our designer, suggested Hunter Douglas light-filtering Duette shades. They're designed for tilt & turn windows and doors so whenever the door is opened, the shade moves with it. We finally had them installed today and they couldn't be more perfect! Thank you for the great advice, Laura! Also have banded shades installed in our office and guest room. Michael, our installer, was great and did a wonderful job. We highly recommend Night and Day if you need window coverings installed!
