Have you been considering inviting a designer into your home for a personalized design consult? There may be a few things stopping you, but we’re here to tell you that the process is easy AND enjoyable. Take a look at what you can expect during your design consult…
Chat With Your Designer.
This is where it all begins! Tell your designer about your atmosphere challenges, any bare windows that might need covering, and your favorite design styles. Painting a picture of your vision will help us bring it to life.
Show Us Your Windows.
Unfolded laundry, toys scattered on the floor, dirty dishes waiting to be washed…yup, we get it. We don’t care about any of this; our designers are solely focused on your window project, so don’t panic if your home isn’t completely clean. During this time, your designer will take measurements of all your windows. Even if you only want to do a few windows at a time, we can keep your measurements on file for when you’re ready.
Check Out the Fabrics.
Your design consult is a hands-on experience! We’ll bring different fabric books and product samples, so you can see how they look and feel. We invite you to hold them up to your windows to see the level of light and privacy. If you need some help deciding, simply ask your designer! They will use their expertise to guide you to the perfect selections.
Get Professional Advice.
Our designers are trained to deal with all sorts of challenging windows. They will give recommendations that will enhance your lighting and privacy. You can also expect to hear about additional features you can add to your treatments, like motorization. Now’s the time to learn about all of your options.
Receive Your Proposal.
After your in-home design consult, you can expect to receive your proposal very quickly. There are many fabrics, features, and options to customize, so your professional designer can work with you until your proposal looks just right.
